Did you know Manchester is currently the fastest growing city for new businesses. Over 3,600 new businesses started in the first quarter of this year alone. You can feel the buzz in the city from all the worker bees. Last week we were invited by MastercardUK to be part of their StriveUK initiative which supports small business. Root2Ginger has been selected by Mastercard to be part of their Thrive Street event taking place at the Arndale Centre in Manchester from Thursday 8th to Monday 12th June. Mastercard will be celebrating the range of inspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses that the city and surrounding areas are home to. Small businesses play a critical role in the UK economy, accounting for around 36% of turnover in the UK.
